Happy Birthday, Belated, Peggy.  Yes sosad, been missing you by the way, I, too, spent my birthday last year by myself.  I needed to.  I can remember almost everything I did that day, the pain was so heavy.  This year, I will be inspired by you, I will be more  inventive.  I don't regret last year.  It was real, but......Peggy, amazingly, we do survive.  Changed, but the spark is still there.  The spark to live and fight through another day.

Happy birthday, Linda.   I don't know the exact date, but it's somewhere near mine, which was the 16th of April.  Hope you have an easy day.

Linda, I just had my third birthday without my husband.  The first year I was a basket case, hiding from the world, answering the phone to only my children.  The second year, I was able to be seemingly okay to the outside world.  This year, I started to revert back to year one, and was ready to crawl under the covers.  The voice of reason took over my brain, which shook me up.  I hastily made plans so that I wouldn't be alone and my birthday was more bearable.  I can't say birthdays get easier, I can only say I become more inventive about how I spend that day.

It's more than what Cob would expect.  It's what he'd want.  I don't have to have known him to know that.

Not sure when your birthday is, Linda, but it's mid-week - figured it'd be a fairly safe time to wish you a

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LINDA!!!!!!!!!!

You'll make it through this present dreaded day as you will future dreaded days, just as you have made it through past dreaded days.  You've come so far, Linda.  Take strength from that to help you keep on going.  Remember, you're one day closer to Cob and your reunion.

thank you all.  I have missed being here, but i've been in the tidal wave of cancer.  Wow, it sure is one powerful disease and it takes tremendous focused effort to fight it.  I sure have been lucky that I, who never does breast exams and had a clear mammogram in sept, found it.  Love to all, Laura

I'm thinking & praying for you. I hope today will be gentle; & give you strength to continue riding the wave.
