It could be a combo, mixlass, hangover commingled with the season.

Remember, although the holidays are close, they're still a over a month away.  That's a long time to let them drag you down.  You'll have nothing left by the time they get here.

Sing loud!   Hugs!!!!

I hate when I wake up with a hangover and haven't had a drink to go with it.  Taint fair.  :taz:

  VICKC &  mixlass.

Please don't forget that you're two courageous and unbeatable women who will always have the company of two very amazing men.  I for one very much rely on Micaela's presence within me!

I'm about as improper a widower as I can be, chatting away to my wife's picture every night (you know, shrines and idolatry and who knows what all unhygienic mourning practices...  :yikes: ).  But I know what I see there are her unmistakeable circuits in my brain, in my soul, burned in there for good and all.  I know her.  She knows me.  Those interactive marriage love loops are also engraved there.  The reactions that overlay her picture are her reactions, not mine.  I swear I can very nearly hear her voice and scent her.

Lest this sound unhealthy, I can relate that I would have crashed and burned furiously this past Sunday if her gaze hadn't demanded that I stop and talk with her.  When I did, and she understood the ins and outs of events that were bearing me down to earth, she hugged me so warmly I fizzed the rest of the day.  Highly recommended!  Let's not forget that these spouses of ours were/are remarkable souls (all of whom I bow to, by the way, since I happen to be mentioning them).

If there's one thing I have learned out of all this, DGI is more the rule than not when it comes to psychological acumen and health.

So here's to us, and here's to them as loves us, and here's to them as we love!  Hip hip!

Does anyone ever feel like they are cycling through some weird emotionally hilly country?

Here was my day...

This thread needs reviving  :sob:

I hurt today.  :sob: :sob: :sob:
It's a glorious winter day and I want to get wrapped up and walk along the tracks with him. I want to walk round the shops and choose presents with him. I want to talk about nothing with him.

Thank you for all the hugs ... I gave up and came home about 3.30. My voice was husky by then with all the  :sob: :sob: :sob:

I hate feeling like that at work. I even went to light a candle in St Thomas' cos that sometimes/usually makes me feel better; instead, I had to do deep breathing to stop the crying and then march sharpish back to work with my head down.

Not so bad now ... feeling exhausted but I guess a 5-hour meltdown can do that to you  :dunno:
