Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) recognizes individuals each year at the Annual Conference for their contributions to the field of death education and grief counseling, as well as contributions to the association. The Awards Committee seeks nominations from the membership for these individuals. Deadline for submission for these awards is December 15 of each year. Award descriptions and award application information are listed for your benefit.

BrokeScholar is the home of 650,000 scholarship award listings. Their members can use there free service to apply for billions of scholarship and grant dollars.

Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) FAFSA's slogan is, We help put America through school. Eligibility requirements and types of available grants/loans are listed on the web site.

Grants.Gov lists a host of granting agencies and organizations related to education grants and has an excellent related links resource page.

International Student Loan Center provides loans and financial aid to college students around the world. If you are a US citizen, Canadian Citizen, or International Student, they have a plan for you! Their partnership with InternationalStudent.com (a leading international portal) and InternationalScholarships.com (an online scholarship site) allows them to offer great international student loan products for study abroad.

The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC)
sponsors the NAGC-Nicholas Green Distinguished Student Award Program. The award program was established through funds provided by Maggie and Reg Green to honor the memory of their seven-year-old son, Nicholas, who was killed in a drive-by shooting while vacationing in Italy in 1994. One student in each state of the United States is selected for their achievements in academics, leadership, or the visual or performing arts. Sonny's Kids Foundation The mission of the Sonny’s Kids Foundation, Inc., is to help children achieve their goals through education. The foundation seeks to accomplish its mission by funding several scholarships and other educational opportunities for young children and teenagers as well as offering grants to schools and other institutions for projects to further the educational opportunities of children. The foundation honors Sonny's belief that everyone should be given chance to earn an education regardless of his or her background by providing scholarships and educational funds to those in need.
